COATINGS - DRINKING WATER
|
Water is stored in tanks and conducted through pipes toward the final user. Different valves equip the entire system.
A variety of materials, such as concrete, metal or plastics, are used to make tanks, pipes and valves. Concrete and metals need to be protected by a coating. When a coating is used in contact with drinking water, it requires approvals from different official organizations.
Many Cardolite phenalkamines already have received approval for contact with potable water, from worldwide organizations. Epoxy based coatings formulated with Cardolite phenalkamines provide outstanding protection and fast cures, even at low temperatures.
