POSITION 1 

Job Title:

R&D MANAGER

 

Cardolite Corporation, The World Leader in Cashew Liquid Technology, has an immediate opening for an experienced and knowledgeable Research & Development Manager to join our R&D team in Zhuhai, China. With the collaboration of a professional R&D staff, you will be performing the following duties:

 

  • Facilitating the development of new products from concept through scale-up
  • Providing technical expertise to our Production, QC and Sales Departments
  • Improving existing products or performance improvement purposes
  • Providing R&D technical support to staff at other facilities

Required Skills:

 

  • Ph.D in Polymer or Organic Chemistry
  • Must be willing and able to relocate to Zhuhai China permanently
  • Minimum two years bench work experience in USA R&D function
  • Willing to conduct bench work
  • Three years management related experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin
  • Computer literate   
  • Similar industry experience would be very desirable

POSITION 2 

Job Title:

IT ENGINEER

 

As Cardolite's primary information technology engineer, you will have a
broad range of responsibilities. Basic duty is to ensure the uptime,
maintenance, expansion, and general support of the company's information
infrastructure, which includes server, desktop, and process control systems
in all Cardolite locations. In your expanded role, you will be expected to
implement projects to improve the company's operational activities and
efficiency in all departments including production, finance, customer
service, purchasing, and R&D.


To succeed in this position, you must be a self-starter having the ability
to work well independently as well as in a group developing consensus. You
should possess a broad range of skills and knowledge of technology in order
to develop creative solutions, while still being grounded enough to handle
basic problems, like desktop support.

This position is located in Newark, NJ, reports to the company CFO,
requires some international travel, and you are expected to be available
more or less 24hrs a day. 3 to 4 years minimum experience in a similar
capacity is desired.
 

Required Skills:

 

  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewall configuration, VPN, etc)
  • Windows, Linux, and Macintosh operating system knowledge on both the
    server and client side
     
  • Basic database skills for maintaining and querying SQL application
    databases
  • Basic knowledge of mail and directory systems
  • Basic web development skills (HTML, Javascript, ASP, JSP, PHP, etc)
  • Basic programming skills (Java desirable over .Net)

Desired Skills:

 

  • Familiarity with with Crystal Reports
  • Familiarity with portal technologies
  • Experience with PLC programming
  • Familiar with SPC systems
  • Mandarin Chinese
