The ASC 2019 conference will be held in Philadelphia, PA on April 8-10, 2019. During the convention, Cardolite will be promoting newly developed polyols and diols, epoxy curing agents, and CNSL modifiers for adhesives and sealants applications. In particular, Cardolite will share detailed study results on its renewable Isocyanate blocking agent and optimization methods for deblocking temperature. Cardolite will present a paper on waterborne technology at the TRFA 2019 annual meeting being held on April 7-10 in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Hong Xu’s technical paper to be given on April 9th at 11am is titled “Novel Cashew Nutshell Liquid based Waterborne Curing Agents: Extended Applications and Benefits” and will share excellent performance results of various CNSL-based starting point formulations for different applications, i.e. floor coatings, anticorrosion and container coatings, ACE applications, and tile grouts and adhesives. Cardolite will be promoting high bio-content materials for one- and two-component epoxy systems at the JEC World Show in Paris, France on March 12-14, 2019. Our epoxy hardeners and diluents as well as our formulated epoxy systems sold under the FormuLITE brand offer excellent fiber wettability, improved water and chemical resistance, higher impact toughness and interlaminar strength, and a wide range of cure speed and pot life. A new FormuLITE epoxy system with excellent UV resistance will be introduced for applications that require minimum discoloration over time. Cardolite will be exhibiting a new portfolio of products and giving a technical presentation at the European Coatings Show and Conference to be held in Nuremberg, Germany on Mar 18-21. Our paper scheduled for 11am on Mar 19 (Shanghai Room) is titled “New CNSL-based water-borne curing agents for low VOC Zn-rich primer and protective epoxy primer” and discusses advancements in waterborne epoxy coatings anticorrosion performance and application conditions with the use of CNSL based curing agents. The effects of introducing graphene in those formulations is also reviewed. Cardolite will be giving a paper titled “Cashew Nutshell Liquid Modified Diols: Impact of Hydrophobicity and Durability in Polyurethane Applications” at the 2019 In-adhesives Conference being held in Munich, Germany on Feb 25-26. This presentation will share data that demonstrates the outstanding properties of CNSL diols in polyurethane adhesives and sealants such as improved mechanical properties and hydrolytic stability, as well as introduce some new diol grades suitable for indirect food contact. Cardolite will be presenting and exhibiting at the Adhesive Society Annual Meeting on Feb 17-20, 2019 at the Hilton Head in South Carolina.
